Training Course on Interreligious dialogue The themes of the project: The training course focuses on the increasing the capacity of young people regarding the youth activities in the field of inter-religious dialogue issues. The course will provide knowledge and space for young people to reflect upon the influence of the religion on the individual identity building as well as to discuss the inter-relationship between the religious self-identification and participation issues. To provide the opportunities for young people to explore the strategies to combat with the different types of the religious discrimination negatively affecting young people's development in different parts of Europe . The course will also include the thematic element for the participants on improving the quality of the inter-religious youth activities. The objectives of project : To support participants to understand the main elements of inter-religious dialogue, including provision of the opportunity for participants to reflect on issues of religious identity at the levels of individual, culture, society and global world; Methodology The methodology used will be based on non-formal education standards developed by Council of Europe. Team of trainers will use learner centered approach considering the relevant experience of the participants. Stimulating motivation to learn and providing strong group support accompanied by the possibility of transferring gained knowledge into practical experience are the core elements of the methodology. The trainers will use different methods aiming to ensure that all participants find a comfortable way of getting involved and expressing themselves. The programme will be realized in the form of presentations, discussion groups, games, simulations, art collage and workshops. |
